Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, applications and services provided by AI Pieces Ltd ("AI Pieces", "we", "us"), including FamilyCompass, HealthCompass, CareCompass and EduCompass (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account, joining the beta, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account. Accounts for children may only be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Institutional accounts (hospitals, care homes, schools) must be set up by an authorised representative of that organisation.

2. Beta services

The Services are currently offered on a pre-release ("beta") basis. They are provided "as is", may change or be discontinued at any time, and may contain errors. Features described on our website may not yet be available. We may limit, suspend, or end beta access at our discretion.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
• Because our platform uses end-to-end encryption and a zero-knowledge architecture, we may be unable to recover your data or content if you lose access to your account or encryption keys.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services. In particular, you will not: use the Services to track, monitor or locate any person without their informed consent; violate any law or the rights of others; attempt to breach, probe or circumvent our security; reverse engineer the Services except as permitted by law; or use the Services to transmit unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.

5. Subscriptions and payment

Some features require a paid subscription. Pricing and plan details are described on our Subscription page. Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Where required by law, you may have statutory cancellation and refund rights.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle data and describes our end-to-end encryption and zero-knowledge approach. By using the Services you acknowledge that Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual property

The Services, including all software, text, designs and branding, are owned by AI Pieces or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services in accordance with these Terms. Content you create remains yours; you grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the Services for you.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are not a substitute for emergency services, professional medical advice, or professional care. Location, alert and messaging features may be delayed or unavailable due to factors outside our control (such as device, network or GPS conditions). To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided without warranties of any kind.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Pieces will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Services or by other reasonable means. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence are unaffected.
