FamilyCompass & the App

How do I join the beta?
Register your interest via the beta sign-up on our homepage, or email [email protected] with the subject "FamilyCompass Beta". We're currently onboarding testers across four countries and will confirm your access within 48 hours.
Is FamilyCompass available on iOS and Android?
Yes. FamilyCompass is a native React Native app available on both iOS (TestFlight beta) and Android. General availability on the App Store and Google Play is planned for Summer 2026.
How many family members can I add?
The beta supports full family groups. Specific tier limits will be confirmed at general availability when pricing is announced.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Core features require connectivity for real-time location and messaging. Last-known locations and cached calendar data remain accessible offline. Full offline mode is on the technical roadmap.
What is the Time Travel Engine?
The Time Travel Engine is FamilyCompass's AI-powered calendar conflict detection system. It analyses family schedules — including pilot rosters, shift patterns, and school calendars — and flags conflicts before they happen, suggesting resolution options in real time.

Privacy & Security

Can AI Pieces see my family's location data?
No. FamilyCompass uses zero-knowledge architecture with AES-256-GCM end-to-end encryption and hardware-backed key storage (iOS Secure Enclave, Android StrongBox). Encryption keys never leave your device. AI Pieces cannot access your location or message data — not through policy, but through architectural design.
Does AI Pieces sell data?
Never. AI Pieces does not sell, share, or monetise user data. Our business model is subscription-based. Your data has no commercial value to us — by design.
Is children's data protected?
Yes. FamilyCompass is COPPA-compliant for users under 13. Children's data is end-to-end encrypted, never used for profiling or advertising, and subject to parental access and deletion rights at any time. Contact [email protected] for any parental data requests.
How do I request deletion of my data?
Email [email protected] with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and your account email. We will action the request within 30 days in accordance with GDPR Article 17. You will receive written confirmation upon completion.
Is AI Pieces GDPR compliant?
Yes. AI Pieces Ltd is registered in Ireland and built within the EU. GDPR compliance is a baseline requirement, not an afterthought. The full Privacy Policy is available at aipieces.org/privacy.
